A new voice in the crowd.

I am currently training to be a basic scientist- if all goes as I have planned, I will one day be in academia, fostering curious minds and inquisitive spirit. That being said, I have something of an insiders view of the world of science. I also have a unique perspective on the intelligent design (ID) movement. My colleagues and peers do as well, but as a rule, basic scientists are most comfortable in a laboratory setting and communicating with students. I, however, passionately enjoy public speaking. I am thus in a unique position from which to attack the ID movement. I have created this blog in an effort to find support, foster discussion, and generate enough momentum to perhaps attack ID with as much effort (though in a more honest manner) as they have attacked science.
